"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

(Matt. 28:19-20)

Although we as Christians know what God calls us to do, outreach is an area that is often neglected or reduced to an annual program like a short-term mission trip or a visit to a local soup kitchen. But outreach is much more than that. It is what makes us followers of Christ. It is the lifestyle and the attitude of our hearts. This EM recognizes the trap of making missions & outreach just an appendage to our ecclesiastical life. Although we organize, train & send mission teams every year to the village of Chochola, Yucatan, we want to do more. That is why starting the year 2008, we are supporting a full-time pastor in the village of Chochola in hope of transforming lives. Rick Schreiber & his family are our missionaries in Yucatan. They have been part of our church family for many years before making a radical decision to move down to Yucatan as missionaries. If you would like to know more about the Schreibers, their works & how to support them, please send your inquiry to Rick

Locally, we have a relationship with Clover Bottom, an organization for the mentally challenged. We are always encouraged by the staff at Clover Bottom who have the heart to serve, and also by the patients who welcome us with open arms.

As we have expressed above, we do regret the fact that our outreach efforts have been limited, but it is our goal to change the content of this page this year. A new work that we will be involved in this year is Habitat for Humanity & our church will be sending a second mission team to Nicaragua this fall.
