The heart of our outreach ministry can be summed up in Matthew 25:40, where Jesus explains, “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” It is a verse that can be found in many of Mother Teresa’s writings & speeches as well, a saintly woman who is known for helping & changing the lives of the poorest of the poor in India. Such model of compassion is repeated throughout the Bible, and it is our prayer that God will use us who have been so blessed to share the love of Christ in our community and in our world.

One burden that God has placed in our hearts is for the Invisible Children of Uganda. These are the children who are under the constant threat of being abducted by the rebels to join their army, where the innocence of these young children is forever lost due to exposure to unimaginable violence. Since fall of 2007, our youth group has been participating in soda fast, and also on Feb. 16th of 2008, we organized a dodgeball tournament among the youth groups in our area to raise funds for these children. The money that we have raised from soda fast & from dodgeball tournament will be used for setting up schools and other safe environments for the Invisible Children.

Also we send a mission team to Chochola, Yucatan annually to conduct Vacation Bible Schools for the children, set up hair salons for the women, perform work projects, do street evangelism & hold evening revival meetings to share the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Locally, we also visit Clover Bottom developmental Center annually to build relationships and to share the love of Christ with the patients there through gifts, food & music.
